A rare opportunity to see behind the scenes of Morecambe Bay’s world-famous Baxter’s potted shrimp factory in Morecambe is happening next Monday (February 29) from 9am until noon.

Manager Mark Smith will conduct a short tour of the Baxter’s site, explaining the history of the company and the journey of the famous Morecambe Bay shrimp from sea to supper plate.

Participants will be able to observe employees at work, before trying their hand at picking and buttering their own shrimps, with a small sample to take home with them.
