You're in the army? Then get out of my shop!

A SOLDIER injured by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan was booted out of an off licence for wearing his uniform.

Corporal Sam Rae was furious after a shop worker refused to serve him because he was in his army combat gear.

Sam, from Heysham, had only popped into Lingars corner shop on Albert Road in Morecambe for chocolate and crisps.

"He said: 'Are you military?' and I said yes, then he said 'I can't serve you, can you get out of the shop please?'" said Sam.

"I kept asking him why and he kept telling me to leave the shop.

"I was a bit shocked. I threw down the crisps and chocolate and walked out because I was angry.
