A BLIND man is appealing for help with transport from college back to Morecambe.

Derek McGee, of Easington, Scale Hall, has been enjoying classes at White Cross in Lancaster but is now struggling to get from his class to Galloway’s on Balmoral Road.

Derek said: “I’ve been trying for weeks and weeks to get transport.

“I’m totally blind and have a guide dog. I can’t afford to get a taxi there and back.

“If someone could drive me I could pay them mileage.

“I would need someone during termtime, which starts on March 8, on a Friday from 12pm.”

If you can help, give Derek a call on 01524 64367.
