POLICE are linking three van break-ins which resulted in thousands of pounds worth of tools and equipment being stolen.

Between September 4 and 5, a Ducato van parked on Colwyn Avenue in Bare had power tools of an unknown value taken after it was broken into.

During the same time period, a Transit van parked on Lawnswood Drive, Westgate, had £2000 worth of tools and other equipment taken.

Also between September 4 and 5, a Ducato van parked on Throstle Walk in Slyne was broken into and £3,200 worth of equipment was taken.
