Morecambe-based heavyweight boxing sensation Tyson Fury could be set to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.

The undefeated giant is set for a ring return on St Patrick’s Day, March 17, in New York.

But on Wednesday the 24-year-old’s uncle and trainer said there was a possibility his man could be set to follow heavyweight rival David Haye in to the world of reality TV by appearing on the Channel 5 show which starts on Thursday night.

Peter Fury tweeted: “Tyson could be going in “Big Brother show”!”

He later added: “One things for sure it will generate big interest for right or wrong reasons.”

Other rumoured contestants on the show include former X Factor star Rylan Clark and jockey Frankie Dettori.

In the ring, Fury is still waiting on WBC champion Vitali Klitschko’s next move, with the Ukrainian still yet to decide whether to hang up his gloves for a career in politics.
