Nigel Benn to box in Morecambe

One of British boxing’s true legends is coming out of retirement to step back between the ropes...in Morecambe!
Former world champion Nigel Benn will box a three-round bout at Lancaster and Morecambe College on Saturday, November 24.
Benn, nicknamed ‘The Dark Destroyer’, will face Frank Harrington, a boxing promoter, trainer and ex-professional fighter from Morecambe, on a four-fight bill.
The 48-year-old former world middleweight and super middleweight champion is famed for his rivalry and two classic battles with Chris Eubank.
Tickets will cost £70 including a three-course meal with complimentary wine, an after-dinner speech from Nigel Benn, and a comedian.
Doors open at 6.30pm, boxing starts at 8pm.
