An ITV comedy drama shot in Lancaster starring Liverpool comic John Bishop airs on Thursday night.

Panto!, tells the story of life behind the scenes at The Grand Theatre’s production of Dick Whittington and also stars former Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps star Sheridan Smith and 1990s pop star Chesney Hawkes.

Bishop plays Lewis Loud the cheeky radio DJ of fictitious station ‘Morecambe FM’, with scenes also shot at The Bay radio’s studios on St George’s Quay.

Panto is on ITV1 on Thursday, December 27 at 9pm.
