It’s a fishing line, quite literally...

Now here’s a fishy mystery.

Somebody has strung up half a dozen fish fillets on a makeshift ‘washing line’ on Morecambe beach, without any explanation.

The raw fish were dangling on ropes on Wednesday morning near the slipway opposite Brighton Terrace on Marine Road.

Paula Ross-Clasper, from the nearby Wimslow Hotel, said: “I wonder if it’s been done as some kind of protest.”

Can anyone shed any light on this?
