Now here’s an innovative way to brighten up one of Morecambe’s empty shops.
Will Nicklin and a group of his friends turned an empty unit in the Arndale Centre into a temporary ‘bunting workshop’.
Will and his team of helpers invited locals to join them in their ‘pop-up shop’ to make bunting and then use it to decorate the town.Will, 23, was awarded £300 funding by O2 Think Big to hold a decoration day and wanted to find a fun way to encourage the community to come together while brightening up the town centre.
O2 Think Big has helped to fund over 3,900 youth projects across the UK over the past two years.
