A chance to win a holiday in Morecambe in 2011

ONE of the sponsors of the popular 'We do like to be beside the seaside' festival is offering visitors to the event the chance to win a holiday in Morecambe.

South Lakeland Parks is returning to The Platform concourse on September 11 and 12 to showcase one of its chic and stylish caravans and will be offering all visitors an opportunity to win a holiday at either Ocean Edge or Regent caravan parks in Morecambe Bay.

To give visitors a taste of the prize they are offering South Lakeland Parks will be showcasing an ABI St David caravan and encouraging festival visitors to take a look around.

Also on hand are South Lakeland Park's two Morecambe mascots, Reggie and Billy who are only too happy to have their photographs taken with children…..and adults!

Caroline Guffogg, marketing manager for South Lakeland Parks is looking forward to supporting the event: "We always do as much as we can to support the events in Morecambe Bay and this one in particular is a favourite of ours.

"In keeping with the seaside theme we'll have deck chairs outside our caravan for people to rest on, along with free sticks of rock for children.

"It's a great opportunity to remind people why seaside resorts make such fantastic holiday destinations.

"We will be showing off a caravan to hopefully encourage visitors to buy their own seaside retreat in Morecambe Bay.

"We are sure one of our four sites in Morecambe Bay will be of interest to holiday makers and with holiday home ownership starting from only 9,000 it's an affordable option for most budgets."

South Lakeland Parks is a major sponsor for events in Morecambe having only a few months ago come to the rescue of ailing event, the Kite Festival, which went on to become a flying success.

The company is based in Cumbria and specialises in the sales and holiday lets of lodges and caravans in nine locations throughout the North-West.

Four of the sites are located in the Morecambe Bay area with two in Heysham, one on Morecambe and one at Glasson Dock.
