An organisation which supports families who have suffered the loss of a baby, received money raised by town hall staff for the charity.

The Tigerlily Trust is a small local charity run by a group of women who have experienced baby loss. The trust provides local hospitals including the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Furness General and Westmorland General with remembrance boxes to give to parents who lose their baby, containing items that enable them to build a collection of memories.
