The name of a teenager killed in a BMX bike accident has been immortalised on a memorial bench near his home.

Friends and family of Greg Richardson raised nearly £500 to pay for the bench.

The bench sits overlooking the Bay on the promenade at Heysham, where Greg lived.

Greg, 15, was injured while riding his bike on Morecambe skate park and later died in hospital last July.

The cash was raised in a sponsored cycle ride to Lancaster skate park from Morecambe skate park.
