Man arrested after hotel joyride

A MAN is alleged to have taken his boss’s van, driven it around the Premier Inn car park in Lancaster with no lights on, and crashed into a parked car.

The incident at 9.41pm on February 11, was captured on CCTV at the hotel.

The 27-year-old was a passenger in the Transit van, which parked up at the Premier Inn.

The owner went into the hotel to book a room, and the passenger then got into the driver’s seat and drove round the car park, crashing into a Citroen Picasso.
