NEW Year, new resolutions, a new start – that’s the promise of Ludus Dance as it sets out its stall of new dance classes for 2012.

The emphasis of its spring dance programme, which has a staggering offer of 23 different dance classes per week, is placed on the notion that dance really is for everyone.

From the tiniest of tots who have their own ‘Space Babies’ classes, to more mature members of the community who can enjoy ‘Stretch & Boogie’ sessions aimed at the over 40s, Ludus has created opportunities for people to have fun and get fit into the bargain.

Samantha Carruthers, dance development artist at Ludus, said: “We are encouraging local people to start 2012 in the way they intend to go on – to have a great time, make new friends and acquaintances, stay healthy and improve their fitness levels.

“We are firmly committed to the philosophy that dance is for everyone, so we’ve created a host of specially designed dance classes for every taste and every level of ability.”
