A Morecambe actor and singer who has appeared in most of the top musicals in the West End needs your help.
Mark Isherwood has been nominated for an award as ‘Best Understudy’ for his role in the smash hit Jersey Boys, which tells the story of smash hit 60s group The Four Seasons.
Mark has been part of the Jersey Boys cast since its initial run in London in 2008.
He sings in the ensemble in the musical at the Piccadilly Theatre but has been nominated in the prestigious awards for when he steps into the main role of Four Seasons singer Nick Massi.
Prior to his run in Jersey Boys, he performed in Les Miserables at Windsor Castle for the Queen, in national tours of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, The Pirates of the Penzance and in the last performance of My Fair Lady at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Voting for West End Frame’s Understudy of the Year 2014 closes at 3pm on Wednesday, July 16.
