John is a keen supporter of North West Blood Bikes Lancs and Lakes and took the opportunity to sign a painting, completed by local artist Peter Foster, showing John racing in the 2015 IOM TT at Creg Ny Baa on the Isle of Man.

The painting will soon be available as a limited edition print which will be sold to raise funds for the charity which provides a free out of hours courier service for the NHS in North West Lancs and the South Lakes area. After the dinner and John’s Q&A session a raffle was held to raise funds for blood bikes and Peter donated a print of one of his Simoncelli paintings which raised a considerable sum for the charity.

Hundreds of local bikers turned out to see the racer.
