For the opening of their new Estate Agency, the Mighty House team asked the public to vote for someone from within the community, deserving recognition for doing good deeds, to cut the ribbon.

A number of worthy nominations were put forward and Philip Price, Deputy Head Teacher at Morecambe Road School was chosen to officially open the shop.

Peter Charnley, Director at Mighty House said “I rang the school to tell Philip he had been nominated and asked him if he would cut the ribbon to open our shop but he kept asking me if it was a joke!

“After convincing him that it was genuine, we were really pleased that he agreed to attend.

“It was a pleasure for us to share our celebrations with Philip who was nominated by parents at Morecambe Road School, a school for children with special educational needs, for the good work he and all the staff do to support the children and their parents or guardians.”
