A free workshop at the Winter Gardens will give advice on the use of lime in buildings.
Run by Lancaster City Council, the workshop will offer a hands-on opportunity to have a go at working with lime.
Lime is a traditional building material that was used in the construction of many historic buildings.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 26 between 10am and 4pm and be led by Elaine and Charles Blackett-Ord of Blackett-Ord Conservation based in Appleby.
Elaine and Charles are specialists in the restoration and repair of historic buildings.
The event is being held as part of the second Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) for Morecambe: ‘A View for Eric’.
The project aims to encourage people to spruce up their buildings in a specific area of Morecambe town centre.
Prior booking is essential. Spaces are limited so please book your place by no later than this Friday (March 21). Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
