Two members of a hen party who were filmed brawling on a plane at 35,000 feet are from the Lancaster district.
Bride-to-be Kelly Lloyd, 30, of Nether Kellet, and 33-year-old Katrina Hanafin, from Carnforth, who was due to be her bridesmaid, were videoed by another passenger in a furious bust-up on a Manchester-to-Barcelona Ryanair flight on Thursday night.
In the video, which has been uploaded to YouTube, a woman can be seen landing blows on another member of the party, who is seated.
As the high-altitude disturbance continues, air stewards rush up the aisle to separate the brawl.
Eye-witness Tony Tickle described seeing “three or four punches” thrown.
Miss Hanafin claimed she was left covered in bruises and is understood to have made an official complaint to police.
She is said to have left the group, which was travelling to Lloret de Mar, when the plane landed and boarded a flight home.
The rest of the hen party is due to return home today.
Lancashire Police said they were aware of the incident and would be speaking to the rest of the party before deciding whether to take action.
