A new family and disabled-friendly area of the main stand at Lancaster City FC was unveiled at the last home game of the season against Curzon Ashton.

Working closely with local disabled children’s charity Unique Kidz and Co, the club and charity have created a comfortable place for families and disabled children to visit to watch their local team. The area will be called the ‘Unique Kidz and Co Family Friendly Section’.

Unique Kidz and Co have been working with Lancaster City FC for over a year and the club decided they wanted to do more with the charity to encourage families and disabled children and young people to come and watch their local football team.

Jim Johnstone, Commercial Manager at Lancaster City, said: “We are delighted to support the charity by naming a section of our main stand the ‘Unique Kidz and Co Family Friendly’ Section.

“We can invite all the children, their families, and staff of Unique Kidz and Co to our club on a regular basis.”
