On the morning of Sunday, June 2, word circulated in the Lancaster area that a group representing the EDL and BNP were intending to march through the city.

West End needs some TLC

I have lived in the West End for 10 years now, (Brunswick Road). My views on what should be done is as follows.

The Lee family from Bingley, Simon and Sami with daughters, Daisy,11 and Honey, eight, having fun on Morecambe beach during the sunny weather this week.

Bright future if world is told of Morecambe sun

I know we all like to complain about the weather, but the month of May this year, as in 2012, saw Morecambe appearing very frequently in the Met Office ratings as the sunniest place in the North West Region.
