Police in Lancaster took part in a two minute silence on Thursday to show their thoughts are with those affected by the tragedy unfolding in Paris this week.

The photos will be sent to Paris to show the support throughout the UK from many police forces and communities.

The show of solidarity comes after an attack on the office of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris on Wednesday, when 12 people were shot dead.
