TV comedian John Bishop will pay a last-minute visit to Lancaster this weekend for a special ‘gig’.
The Liverpudlian star will give a hilarious talk about his new book ‘How Did All This Happen?’ on Sunday night (November 10) at the Grand Theatre.
Tickets cost £25 with the book and £15 without. The show starts at 8pm.
John’s book tells the story of a boy who, growing up on a council estate dreaming of ousting Kenny Dalglish from Liverpool FC’s starting line-up, suddenly found himself on a stage in front of thousands of people nationwide, at an age when he should have known better.
Books will be available to purchase on the night and John will be signing copies after the event. All profits (after theatre costs) will go to the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
John is becoming a regular visitor to Lancaster after filming Christmas TV show ‘Panto’ last December in the city. He also played a secret gig at The Borough pub earlier in 2012.
