ABOUT a month ago I was writing about alternatives to herbal remedies which have increased in price or decreased in strength.
In my article about alternatives to Milk Thistle, a well known herb often used to support healthy liver function, I mentioned a product we have been using a lot recently called Choline and Inositol.
These two nutrients are brilliant to support healthy liver function.
Choline is a nutrient which is known as lipotropic. This means that it can help to protect against the build up of fats within the liver and improve the flow of fats and cholesterol through the liver and gall bladder.
Inositol aids in fat and cholesterol metabolism as well as strengthening liver and gall bladder function.
The two nutrients together can therefore be helpful, not just in supporting a healthy liver, but also in supporting healthy digestion and metabolism of fats.
A couple of days after my first article on Choline and Inositol I was outside the shop cleaning the windows when I overheard the conversation two ladies standing near me were having. They were saying they had read my article and wanted to go and ask about the product I had suggested instead of Milk Thistle but couldn’t remember what it was called.
I quickly introduced myself as the writer and told them it had been the Choline and Inositol.
