APRIL is apparently irritable bowel awareness month. So over the next few weeks I thought I would make you all aware of the natural remedies available for this condition and how effective natural treatments can be for digestive complaints, particularly irritable bowel syndrome.
The first thing we really need to clear up is that irritable bowel is really just a label given to people who have a bowel which does not function well.
It covers a whole range of different symptoms and therefore there is not one remedy for irritable bowel but a whole load of different products to choose from.
Which product will be best for you really depends on how your bowel problem affects you. Over the next few weeks we will have a look at ways to deal with constipation, diarrhoea, wind, pain and all of the above in combination.
This week though I want to make a start by looking at one of the most common symptoms of irritable bowel – bloating.
