Get your new-look Visitor

Spring has sprung and The Visitor is getting a brand new look.

Next week we are relaunching your newspaper with a new design and new content.

We have taken on board your feedback and given the paper a good spring clean, retaining the news and features you love and adding brand new content.

We know you love a good read and you can look forward to the launch of the Lancaster and Morecambe book club, with news, reviews and offers. Next week five signed copies of ‘How we met’ by local author Katy Regan will be up for grabs.

Are you a local author? Or do you want to write a review. It is easy – just email debbie.butler@jpress.co.uk

The Visitor will have two brand new crime pages, updating you on the latest from the police and the courts, all in one place, with plenty of advice to keep criminals at bay. Got a story? Email michelle.blade@jpress.co.uk

And a new page will report the latest from our younger sports clubs, teams and individuals. Get involved! Email stuart.bannerman@jpress.co.uk

Our entertainment coverage will be getting a brand new look and feel.

WOW247 will report all the local entertainment news and listings in conjunction with the new searchable website of the same name. Get involved by telling us what is going on and writing reviews. Contact greg.lambert@jpress.co.uk

Coming soon expect new faces as we introduce new columnists to the paper.. .watch this space

And it’s not just the paper which is changing. You will see improvements to the website thevisitor.co.uk in the next few months as we endeavour to bring you more video and more breaking news straight from our newsroom. And if that is not enough – find out how to win a total £2,000 cash.

A prize of £1,000, one £500 and two £250 will be up for grabs. Start collecting tokens in next week’s Visitor.
