There’s plenty to keep you entertained in the early part of 2016 if you want to travel that little bit further afield.

Following on from a successful pantomime season, Preston Guild Hall will offer
something for everyone throughout 2016.

January sees the return, on the 24th, of Brass at the Guild, in which more than 40 bands are expected to compete, and the Classic Rock Show will bring the top 20 guitar riffs of all time on January 20.

Much excitement surrounds the appearance of X Factor’s Reggie and Bollie, the headliners at the almost sold out Pop into Preston on January 29.

The Guild will also be playing host to the World Senior Snooker Championship on January 30 and 31, welcoming back snooker legends Jimmy White, John Parrott and
defending champion Mark Williams.

The hall will welcome the beloved Sid from Cbeebies Sid’s Show for an interactive experience crammed with games, songs and magic for children age three and over on February 15.

Sing-a-long-a productions is returning with its hit interactive screening of the Disney favourite Frozen on February 19. So get dressed up and get ready to sing your heart out, but be quick as Sing-a-long-a Frozen was a sell-out show last year.

For the adults with a passion for film, Sing-a-long-a Grease will be showing in the evening on February 19.
