Four celebrations for Vaughan’s 100th birthday

A special gentleman had four celebrations for his 100th birthday.

Vaughan Hinton first celebration was a party at the Salvation Army in Morecambe.

The second party was at the Shoppers Fellowship meeting at Sefton Road Church. The third party was at his daughter Moyna’s home.

The fourth party was at the Clarendon Hotel in Morecambe for all his family and relatives.

Vaughan used to be a lay preacher in the district of Morecambe and Heysham.

He also used to be a Cliff College trekker and went around the country on foot preaching the gospel with his fellow friends from Cliff College.

Vaughan married Betty and had a daughter called Moyna.

He has one grandchild, Alethea.

Betty died in 1994.
