A LARGE scale painting of Morecambe’s most famous son is on show as part of an exhibition by designers who have created images for Blur and the film Trainspotting.
The exhibition, organised by the design company Stylorouge, is on at the Aubin Gallery on Redchurch Street, Shoreditch, London, until February 3.
Artist Viv Dykes painted the picture of Eric which welcomes people as they enter the gallery.
Viv, who is based in Northumberland, said: “We are currently celebrating our 30th anniversary as a leading London creative design studio.
The design team have created some of the most well regarded imagery for the music and movie industries during this time for the likes of Blur, Morrissey, Rolling Stones, George Michael, The Cure and the now iconic artwork for Trainspotting.
