Paul Hayes and Golly Gilmour promote the fothcoming Beatles in Morecambe 50th anniversary concert.

Friday, January 18, 2013, will be the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ second and final concert at the Floral Hall in Morecambe.

To celebrate the Fab Four’s visit to town half a century ago, local musicians - including Morecambe’s own TV personality - will put on a big Beatles night of live music and fun at the Midland Hotel on that date.

The Paul Hayes Collection, fronted by BBC Cash in the Attic star Paul Hayes, will perform as will The Shakers, a resident band from The Cavern in Liverpool.

Expect all the hits from John, Paul, George and Ringo on a real party night to pay tribute to Beatlemania. There will also be interviews with guests from the inner circle of The Beatles and the hotel is providing ‘Lancashire tapas’. Tickets are £15 and are available on 01524 850757 and 07736979483 with all proceeds going to charity.
