Would you like to be part of the newest dance craze sweeping the globe?

Two Lancaster club DJs are inviting anyone and everyone to join their very own ‘Harlem Shake’ in Dalton Square.

Ryan Angelis and Craig Smart will film a crowd of people as they dance to the electro track which has sparked a worldwide internet phenomenon.

Harlem Shake, by DJ Baauer, has inspired countless videos in which one person, often in a mask, dances alone in an unusual setting, ignored by those around them.

But when the chorus kicks in, everyone in the background joins in the dance in a crazy and chaotic fashion.

YouTube says over 4,000 ‘Harlem Shake’ videos are being uploaded daily.

The song is also currently number one in the iTunes download chart.

The Lancaster Harlem Shake gathering is at 3pm this Saturday (February 23).
