Art with a nice ring to it
Now here is Chas Jacobs’ artwork as you’ve never seen it before – on the back of a mobile phone!
The celebrated artist, famed for his quirky and colourful prints of local landscapes, is now designing skins and cases for mobiles.
Grant Bodie, owner of ThinkSkins.co.uk, approached Chas with the idea after his wife, Joanne, won one of his prints in a competition.
After a few conversations they had the idea to test the market by publishing a handful of designs to Chas’s Facebook followers and the response was overwhelming.
“As a big fan of Chas’s work I felt sure the demand would be there but wanted to make sure I wasn’t being biased, said Grant.
Chas said: “The feedback from Facebook was amazing and I am really looking forward to introducing more designs to the expanding range.”
