Students at Lancaster University are among the most satisfied in the UK according to the 2013 National Student Survey.
Nine out of ten final-year undergraduates said they are satisfied with their overall experience, placing Lancaster as the top university in the North West in the survey.
Overall, Lancaster is ranked joint 13th among UK universities alongside several others including Durham, Sheffield and Newcastle.
This result places Lancaster University 6th equal with Durham amongst Russell and 1994 Group universities.
Over 300,000 students responded to the survey which is carried out by Ipsos MORI.
The Universities Minister David Willetts said: “It is very encouraging to see student satisfaction is continuing to rise. University is a hugely enjoyable and life-enhancing experience for most students, as this survey shows.”
