LIVE music and a guest appearance from legendary motorcycle ace Eddie Kidd are the highlights of a big family fun day at the George in Torrisholme.
Kidd is Britain’s most famous bike stunt performer. In the 1970s and 80s, he had a level of fame comparable to the great Evel Knievel.
The event on Sunday, July 8 ,will be hosted by Morecambe and District Motorcycle Club and is called Bikefest.
Music from 10am to 8pm comes from Scarred I.D , The Charm, ACE/DC, A Second to Soon, Thirty 3, The Remedy Project, Animus, Freak and Fighting Bears.
There will also be a bike show with many categories, all with trophies to be won, a variety of trade stalls, food, children’s entertainment, bouncy castle and a fire-eating show.
A raffle, a tombola and auction will include biking memorabilia from Morecambe’s own TT hero, John McGuinness.
The event itself is free to attend, although their will be a small fee for entering the show.
All monies raised will be presented to Donna’s Dream House – a hotel in Blackpool providing free holidays for terminally ill children and their families.
