Reel cinema organisers are teaming with Morecambe Lifeboat Station for the film launch and a lifeboat will be stationed outside the cinema on Central Drive for the launch.

The film launch will take place on Saturday February 20 and the lifeboat will be open to the public from 10am-4pm.

There will opportunities to talk to the lifeboat volunteers and have a look around the lifeboat. The crew will also be on hand to give safety advice and information on how to stay safe on the bay.

The cinema will also be running a competition to fundraise for the station and as well as the film will also be shooting a documentary on the day about what the life boat station means to the people of Morecambe.

The Finest Hours will be shown at Reel Cinema at 3.40pm and 8.40pm.
