Two men assaulted and robbed

POLICE are appealing for information after two men were assaulted and robbed in Morecambe.

The men, aged 20 and 23, were walking home along Euston Road when three men approached them at the junction of Thornton Road at about 3.50am on Thursday, April 14.

One of the men punched the 23-year-old causing him to fall to the floor and bang his head before the 20-year-old was punched, headbutted and kicked to the ground before having his mobile phone, passport and bank card stolen.

The 23-year-old suffered a cut to the back of his head and bruising to his eye while his friend suffered a possible fractured cheekbone, a swollen nose and a bruised eye.
