THE brave victim of a brutal attack on a cycle track has been speaking about her ordeal.
Sheridan Whittaker, 20, was knocked to the ground and beaten by three men in hooded tops who tried to rob her whilst she was walking to meet friends.
She was left with lumps and bruises and the ordeal has shaken her so much that she is terrified to go outside.
She told The Visitor: “They were walking towards me and then two went on one side and one on the other. They grabbed me by the neck and pulled me on the floor. They then started kicking me everywhere, including my head. No-one was around to help me.
“They tried to steal my phone but then stopped and ran off onto the main road.
“I ran in the opposite direction and my friends called the police. It was a terrifying incident and I won’t go outside now.”
