Phone stolen

A thief stole a mobile phone that had been left on the side in a bank. Police said the HTC Desire S mobile phone was taken from Lloyds Bank on Market Street in Morecambe at 12pm on July 3.

Meat theft

A shoplifter stole meat from Booths supermarket, said police. The thief went into the shop on Lancaster Road at 12.48pm on July 25 and selected various meat items, secreted them in a bag and left the store without paying. Items stolen included two packets of pork loin steaks worth £4.56, two packets of pork choops worth £6.22 and one packet of pork chops worth £3.02. Anyone with information about either of these crimes should call police on 101.
