POLICE are appealing for information after a laptop was stolen from a shop in Lancaster.

Police said at around 4.25pm on November 17, a group of six people (adults and children) went into the Blackbox store on Norfolk Street.

Whilst the shop assistant was distracted, one of the group leaned over the display and took an Acer laptop worth around £700, concealed it in clothing and then left the store walking towards Aldrens Lane.

Police have issued the CCTV images of people they wish to speak to in connection with the offence.
