A man who deliberately knocked a cyclist off his bike, then threw it at him, has been jailed for 18 months.
Kieron Burke, of Mount Avenue, Lancaster, attacked the man as he rode close to Ryelands Park in Lancaster earlier this year.
The 27-year-old admitted unlawful wounding when he appeared before Preston Crown Court.
The victim, a 47-year-old man, had gone out for a ride on his bike close to Ryelands Park in Lancaster. Burke stuck his arm out and struck Mr Hamilton.
The blow caused him to fall off his bike to the ground and Burke then started punching him.
Eventually he managed to stand up but Burke grabbed his bike and hurled it at him. The judge ruled a custodial sentence was necessary.
