Tool theft warning
Police are urging all tool-owners to make sure that they keep a record of their possessions and make sure all outbuildings are secure following a spate of burglaries where tools have been taken.
Police believe that the increasing amount of burglaries where tools have been stolen, have been assisted by owners leaving sheds and outbuildings insecure.
Detective Inspector Amanda Sadler said: “We are making enquiries on a number of burglaries and will be looking to prosecute anyone who we think is responsible.
“I would like to take this opportunity to ask that members of the public act more vigilantly and make sure that their tools are kept in a secure place.”
