CORONATION Street superbitch Tracy Barlow is about to show off her kind-hearted side and also her singing talents...in Lancaster!
Actress Kate Ford heads a list of local celebrities who will join a Carnforth High schoolgirl to record a charity single.
Kate, who grew up near Kirkby Lonsdale, will join Kendal’s Britain’s Got Talent finalist Steve Hall and Morecambe TV antiques host Paul Hayes as backing singers for 14-year-old singer Amy Jo Clough.
They will all visit The Bay radio station in Lancaster to record The Pretenders and Girls Aloud classic I’ll Stand By You.
Proceeds will go towards The Ryan Stanford Appeal. Ryan, from Lancaster, is three years old and has the terminal illness Alpers Syndrome.
Amy recently won a singing competition and donated her winning cheque to the appeal. She wanted Ryan, who was too poorly to attend, to hear the winning track.
So her mum Ellie Singleton, manager at the Grand Theatre in Lancaster, approached The Bay to work with them on recording a charity CD.
