Benifest has ran as a local charity event for four years.

Organised by local punks the festival will see 12 punk bands play at The Trimpell Sports and Social Club in Morecambe on Saturday (October 22). The first band will be on stage at 1pm.

A raffle will be held, organised by Morecambe’s Vintage Vinyl, and a host of prizes will be up for grabs.

The first Benifest was to raise money to support Sarah Melville, the second supported Unique Kidz, and last year supported the Neurological Drop in Centre at Lancaster Farms and the stroke unit in Lancaster.

This year’s event has been co-ordinated by Kelly, Stig and Paula Baker.

While there are prizes up for grabs organisers have said they would welcome any additional ones, should any local people or businesses wish to offer their support, then any donations can be dropped off at Vintage Vinyl on Albert Road.

Tickets for Benifest are £10 on the day and all proceeds go to LDHAS.
