The Platform will soon be filled with memories of the golden age of Morecambe’s live pub and club music scene.
The third ‘Later with Jools Netherland’ music night tips its hat to the Sunday night live music shows at The Carleton of the 1980s and 1990s.
Topping the bill will be the Devious Soul Machine, one of Morecambe’s most popular club bands of all time.
They will reform for this one-off retro show on Friday, April 19, compered by ‘Jools Netherland’ himself aka local musician Steven Wren.
The night will also feature White Line Fever who set the town alight in the 80s before becoming darlings of Nashville USA with their upbeat country sound, as well as old favourites Terry Canyon and the Oilslicks.
The event starts at 8pm and is for over 18s (over 16s with an adult).
Tickets cost £10 and are available from the Visitor Information Centres at the Platform, Morecambe and the Storey in Lancaster or call 01524 582803.
