THE Chinese Consulate recently visited the district hosted by Lancaster City Council.
The Chinese Consul General, Mr NI Jian, came, along with the Vice Consul and Consul for Education.
The delegation from the Chinese Consulate in Manchester visited Lancaster, Morecambe and Lancaster University with a view to developing economic links between the Lancaster district and China.
Lancaster’s Mayor, Coun Tony Wade, the Mayoress, the Leader and Chief Executive of Lancaster City Council, were joined by members of the local business community and the Chamber of Commerce, to talk about the district and its economy, including its assets and aspirations for the future.
