Two packs of steak were stolen from a supermarket in Carnforth.

The shoplifting incident took place at the Co-op store on Market Street between 4.15pm and 4.25pm on August 16.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman in the shop when the steaks were stolen.

The woman is described as white, late 30s or early 40s, plump build, black straight shoulder length hair parted to one side, wearing a white short sleeved v neck t-shirt with a black pattern, black pants and white shoes carrying a white shoulder bag.

PC Carl Wood, from Lancaster & Morecambe Police, said: “We would ask the public to study the image released.” Call police on 101.
