A MAN and his wife have raised £2,500 for St John’s Hospice by producing a calendar of the Lune Valley through the ages.

David Kenyon sourced old photographs of villages up the Lune Valley including Wray, Hornby, Brookhouse, Caton and Halton.

The calendar has been very popular with all 750 copies selling out.

David came to the hospice to present his cheque and said: “I would like to thank all the local shops and businesses for helping sell this calendar for such a worthwhile cause.”
