YOU may have seen this striking red logo in some of the empty shop units in the Arndale Centre and wondered what it’s all about.
The logo is part of the marketing campaign for “MoreCANBeDone” – Morecambe’s attempt to be chosen as one of the Government’s Portas Pilot towns.
Morecambe is one of hundreds of UK towns and cities bidding for a £100,000 cash pot to help high streets and town centres in need of reinvention.
Residents can get involved in the campaign by sharing ideas on how Morecambe can be improved.
Simply pick up a special red postcard from local retailers, supermarkets and the Arndale, write your opinions and return them to the same location.
