CARNFORTH Town Council have called an extraordinary meeting to discuss the planning application for a proposed marina and multi-million pound hotel development.
The city council has received an application from developers Graham Anthony Associates for outline planning permission for the scheme that as well as a 50-berth marina and 100-room hotel would also include a wind turbine. Resident’s views were split at an earlier meeting on the Carnforth Brow proposal.
According to the plans, the development would create 65 full-time and 20 part-time jobs.
The extraordinary meeting will be held at the Civic Hall on Monday, April 16 at 6.30pm.
Residents can make comments to councillors, the town clerk or email email@example.com.
