Customers are being invited to celebrate a milestone for a town’s salon at a special first birthday party.
Love Beauty, on Main Street in Kirkby Lonsdale, will throw open its doors to guests for a free evening of fun and demonstrations.
It will take place on October 23 at Plato’s Restaurant.
The salon is owned by Sue Shields, of Burton-in-Kendal, and Carolyn Hogg, of Kirkby Lonsdale, who between them have more than 30 years’ experience in the beauty industry.
Sue also owns The Pure Essence salon at the South Lakeland Leisure Village near Carnforth.
The women say their businesses are growing year on year and between the two salons, six beauty therapists are now employed.
Sue said: “We are delighted with the success of our second salon in Kirkby Lonsdale.”
Carolyn added: “Since we opened we have been really welcomed by other businesses in the town and Love Beauty is going from strength to strength.”
The event will start at 6.30pm and include wine and nibbles, demonstrations, displays, raffle prizes and goody bags.
Places for the evening are limited and anyone wishing to attend is asked to collect free tickets, which are available from either of the two salons.
